Dr. Yuhao Shi

Sport Medicine Physician

Dr. Shi is a Sport Medicine Specialist who also practices general Family Medicine. He graduated from McGill University with a joint degree in Computer Science and Biology and received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto. He then finished his Family Medicine training at the University of Toronto, before completing further training in Sport Medicine at the University of Ottawa. 

Dr. Shi has worked with athletes of all levels and is involved in the care of varsity athletes at the local universities. He was also the Chief Medical Officer of the World Women’s Curling Championship in 2021. 

Dr. Shi also has an interest in education. He is involved in the teaching of clinical skills to medical students at the University of Ottawa, and he was also the editor-in-chief of the book Essentials of Clinical Examination Handbook, 8th edition.
